I have a hard time listening to correction. Goodness knows, I give it left and right, but my pride gets in the way and I can't seem to take admonishment or things of that nature. And yes, I do sorely need criticism, because I am far from perfect.
I was reading another school text and here were a few of the final words:
You may think you have heard all this before. You have. It’s just that we do not practice what we know to be true. You didn’t listen before. If you are lucky, you will this time.
I'd just change the "lucky" to "smart" and quote from the CP CA Gathering - Amen and Ouch.
